The Core Expert Methodology

The Core Expert® Method is rooted in the time-tested fundamentals of Pilates and draws from contemporary exercise science, biomechanics, yoga, mindful breathing, and full-body movement practices. While Jessica teaches the scientific knowledge of the core and its functions, she also acknowledges that it’s about the core of who you on any given day and at any stage in your life. This is where and how the integration of the mind, body, heart, and spirit lives, “Where Spirit Aligns With Science.” The messages that your body is sending you comes from your core, from your inner most deepest and truest self.

The Core Expert® approach combines proper function and exceptional movement practices with your own understanding of yourself, your own bio-individuality… Your own humanness. The word “core” has become a ubiquitous buzzword in the fitness industry, but what does it really mean for your life? You may believe, as many do, that “core” simply means “abs.” But Jessica is here to tell you it’s about so much more!

Your core is your life force, your essence and your truth. Simply put, it’s where your breath begins and lives. Your core determines your posture, power, alignment, balance, and overall function of your body. Core strength combined with core stability improves joint mobility and physical performance in all areas of life. It helps improve posture, everyday function and well-being, as well as helping to prevent pain and injury. With Jessica’s methodology, you’ll learn what it really means to “engage your core.” You’ll experience a full body work out of continuous movement and flow as all elements involve “F.B.I.” -  Full Body Integration.
