I was recently featured in an MSN article that discusses the important role upper body strength plays in running efficiency.

There's no question that you need a strong lower body for better performance when it comes to running. But it turns out that your upper body plays a bigger role in running than you might think. 

New research shows that there's a neuromechanical link between the head and forearm during running that stems from humans evolving to run longer distances.

Based on my background in Pilates, Biomechanics, and mind-body movement, I explained the relationship between the upper body - especially a strong core - and a runner's ability to improve stability and spatial awareness.
